For dedicated macro performance on either your full-frame or APS-C format DSLR, consider this Tamron SP AF 90mm f2.8 Macro lens. As well as the wonderful short-telephoto focal length, this lens features a 1:1 magnification and short closest focus of just 30cm, for premium close-up images of the smallest of creatures and items. Whether using the lens for close-ups or for portraiture or similar applications, a VC image stabilisation is excellent for reducing the effects of camera shake and keeping things blur-free, while the USD AF system is fast and quiet in performance, suiting a varied subject range, and multimedia shooting.

The Tamron 90mm f2.8 Di Macro lens is perfect for detailing the close-up world with either your full-frame or APS-C format DSLR camera. A bright f2.8 maximum aperture works wonderfully with the short-telephoto focal length for creating images with shallow depths of field, where the foreground is the only star of the show, and the rest is just featureless blur. With its 1:1 Magnification and closest focus of 30cm, this is a more than capable Macro lens but the lens is more than just a one-trick pony, with suitability for portraiture and other popular photographic applications.

With its built-in VC stabilisation, this Tamron 90mm lens can be enjoyed handheld most of the time, without every little bump and shake leading to destructive blur. Whether your subject is still or on the go, this Tamron Macro lens is a suitable partner in crime, thanks to the fast, smooth and quiet AF provided by the USD AF system. A premium optical build results in sharp and detailed pictures, free from fringing, aberrations or similar, while both eBAND and BBAR coatings have been applied, for the purpose of limiting ghosting and flare.
