This Tamron teleconverter provides a 1.4x increase in magnification of selected lenses, which comes in very handy for sports and wildlife users, in particular. Crucially, the key functions of your lens, such as AF and VC will function as normal, while a 1-stop loss of light is the payoff for the extended focal length. While the Tamron 1.4x Teleconverter is rugged in design, with dust and moisture-resistance, it is also portable and lightweight, keeping your telephoto photography kit as lightweight as possible.

• 1.4x increase in focal length
• Retains AF and VC functionality
• Moisture and dust-resistant construction
• Reduces F-stop of the lens by one-stop
• Ergonomic, streamlined design
