Sony E 11mm f1.8 Lens

Looking for a wide-angle prime lens to capture stunning landscapes and interior shots with your Sony Mirrorless camera? The Sony E 11mm f1.8 is a great choice. A portable option, this Sony prime lens weighs in at just 181 grams. The 11mm focal length provides a 16.5mm equivalent on compatible APS-C cameras, which is wide enough to fit in all of the detail you need. It is also a great option for vlogging as you can hold your camera at arm’s length, knowing you will still fit everything in. A major selling point of this lens is the bright f1.8 maximum aperture, which provides users with brilliant depth of field control and makes the lens perfect for working in available light.

The Sony E 11mm f1.8 Lens features a brilliant optical design which helps it to attain crisp and clear imagery in a wide range of scenarios. Elements included in the design are Aspherical and ED glass, while multi-coating has been applied to suppress ghosting and flare.

The Sony E 11mm f1.8 Lens is portable and slim, but that does not mean Sony have skimped on features when designing it. The lens is great for advanced and beginner users alike, with a focus-hold switch and a focus hold button, the latter of which can be customised to adjust a setting of the user’s choice. Despite its slim build, this lens has been made to handle outdoor conditions admirably with dust and moisture resistance. Whether you plan to use this lens for stills, video or both, you will be pleased by the addition of dual linear AF motors and the resulting smooth, fast and accurate AF performance.
