SmallRig Baseplate for Sony Alpha 7R V / Alpha 7 IV

Elevate your Sony Alpha 7R V or Alpha 7 IV setup with the SmallRig Baseplate 3666B. Designed to enhance comfort and protection, this premium accessory transforms your shooting experience whether you’re working handheld or mounted on a tripod.

The baseplate improves grip comfort with a thoughtfully designed spindle spanner that fits the battery door curve perfectly, leaving room for your little finger. A built-in silicone pad prevents scratches and twisting, while genuine leather detailing adds a refined aesthetic to your camera.

Versatility is built in. The Arca-compatible quick-release design lets you transition seamlessly between tripods, stabilisers such as the DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, and RS 3 Pro, and handheld shooting. Additional 1/4″-20 threaded holes and cold shoes accommodate mini tripods and microphones, expanding your creative possibilities.

Assembly and disassembly are effortless thanks to the integrated magnetic spanner. The baseplate attaches securely using a 1/4″-20 screw and locating pin, ensuring rock-solid stability during demanding shoots.
