If you are looking to shoot street or nature scenes, the chances are you need a lens just like this in your kit, the Sigma 16mm DC DN Contemporary. The lens has a wide angle of view, equivalent to a 24mm focal length in 35mm terms, which means it fits in plenty of the world before you in a single frame. The ultra-bright f1.4 maximum aperture is a real dream come true for anyone that travels around for their photography, with its light gathering abilities allowing you to capture blur-free images, without the aid of a cumbersome tripod.

The stepping AF motor of the Sigma 16mm f1.4 Contemporary lens assures fast and quiet performance, which is of benefit for still photography of varied subjects, as well as videography. Optically, this lens is of premium quality, thanks to the various high-end elements that Sigma have turned to in their design, including FLD, SLD, and molded Aspherical elements. Physically, the lens is just as reliable, its build from thermally stable composite and weather-sealed qualities allowing it to be turned to in virtually any climate. If you dare to shoot, the Sigma 16mm f1.4 Contemporary is up to the task.
