Scanstrut Flip Pro Fast Charge USB-A & USB-C Socket

Ultra-Fast Power Delivery for Marine, RV, and Off-Grid Applications

The Scanstrut Flip Pro sets a new benchmark for on-board power connectivity, delivering rapid charging capabilities for modern electronic devices. Designed for seamless integration into 12V and 24V electrical systems, this dual-port charger combines high-speed USB-A and USB-C outputs with robust, washdown-ready construction. Whether you are outfitting a high-performance marine vessel, a long-range 4×4 touring rig, or an off-grid caravan, this charging socket ensures your essential electronics remain powered without the prolonged wait times associated with conventional aftermarket chargers.

Unmatched Charging Speeds for Laptops and Tablets

Modern devices demand significant power, and standard USB sockets often struggle to keep up, resulting in battery drain even while plugged in. The Flip Pro resolves this by delivering an impressive 36W on a 12V system and up to 60W when connected to a 24V system. This robust output makes it highly capable of charging demanding electronics, including modern USB-C laptops, large tablets like the iPad Pro, and power-heavy smartphones simultaneously. By utilising your device’s original charging cable, you can achieve optimal power transfer rates, keeping you connected and productive while away from mains power.

Engineered for Severe Outdoor Environments

Electronic components in boats and camper trailers are frequently exposed to moisture, salt air, and relentless vibration. Built specifically for these challenging conditions, the Flip Pro features a highly durable, UV-resistant housing and an internal anti-corrosion protective coating. When closed, the spring-loaded cap provides an IPX4 waterproof seal, effectively shielding the ports from rain, spray, and washdowns. The integrated hinge and spring are manufactured from marine-grade 316 stainless steel, ensuring long-term reliability and resistance to rust, even in coastal environments. While actively charging, the lid locks firmly open, protecting your cable connections from accidental knocks.

Seamless Integration and Retrofit Design

Upgrading your current power setup is a straightforward process. The Flip Pro is engineered to fit into a standard 29 mm (1 1/8 inch) mounting hole, making it a perfect direct replacement for older, slower 12V USB sockets or traditional cigarette lighter receptacles. It supports panel thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 25 mm, providing excellent flexibility for custom dashboards, cabinetry, or exterior bulkheads. Additionally, the highly efficient circuitry boasts a minimal standby power draw of just 0.01W, ensuring your auxiliary battery bank is not unnecessarily depleted during extended periods of storage.
