The Pentax D FA 645 35mm f3.5 AL lens is a premium-quality wide-angle lens for the 645 medium format system. With a 27.5mm equivalent focal length, this lens is ideal for landscapes, architecture and other wide-angle exploits. The f3.5 maximum aperture of the lens provides a good amount of background blur, while other highlights include a high-quality optical design and rugged weather-sealed build.

The optical design of the Pentax D FA 645 35mm f3.5 AL lens includes one glass-molded aspherical element, one hybrid aspherical element, and one high refractive index low dispersion element, which means image sharpness is paramount and distortions are minimal. HD coating has also been applied, delivering high-contrast images with a notable absence of ghosting and lens flare.
