Ilford Microphen is a versatile fine grain, black and white powder film developer ideal for photographers who want to push-process their films whilst maintaining exceptional image quality. This specially formulated developer gives an effective increase in film speed whilst retaining the fine grain characteristics typically associated with grain-controlled developers. It offers a high speed-to-grain ratio, making it particularly suited to faster films such as HP5 Plus, Delta 400 Professional, and Delta 3200 Professional, where it delivers superior results even at extended development times. The powder format makes one litre of working solution and can be used as a stock solution or diluted 1+1 or 1+3 for flexible processing options.
