Keeping some characteristics of its previous version, such as 600Ws and 0.01-0.9 sec recycling time, the AD600Pro II offers flash durations from 1/220 to 1/11,760 sec, a wider output range from 1/1 to 1/512, and a clear, optimized TFT colour screen for intuitive onboard control. One of the upgrades of this second version is the addition of a bi-colour LED modelling light that can be used to help aid composition or as an alternative light source.
