Exotronic Ekrano/Cerbo GX 6mm Slim Temperature Sensor – 4 Pack

Multi-Zone Temperature Monitoring for Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX Systems

High-Precision, Slim-Profile Sensors for Advanced Energy Management

The Exotronic 6mm Slim Temperature Sensor 4 Pack provides a complete solution for precise thermal monitoring across multiple points in your off-grid, marine, or mobile power system. Designed as a compact, high-accuracy alternative to standard sensors, this pack enables comprehensive temperature tracking for battery banks, inverter compartments, and solar charge areas, helping you optimise performance and protect critical components.

Each sensor features a 6 mm diameter stainless steel probe that fits easily into tight spaces, such as between battery cells or within crowded enclosures. The pre-installed 5-metre cable with ferrules allows direct, secure connection to Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX devices, simplifying installation and reducing setup time. With an operating range of -40C to 100C, these sensors deliver reliable data even in extreme environments, from freezing mornings to high-temperature engine rooms.

Why Multi-Point Temperature Sensing Matters

Effective thermal management is essential for extending battery lifespan and ensuring safe operation. By monitoring temperature at several locations, you can detect imbalances, prevent overheating, and enable temperature-compensated charging. This 4-pack allows you to instrument your entire system, providing the data needed to make informed decisions and automate protective actions via your GX device.

Key Features

• Ultra-slim 6 mm probe for installation in confined areas, such as between battery cells or inside cable ducts
• Stainless steel, waterproof encapsulation ensures durability in marine, RV, and industrial settings
• Pre-terminated ferrules on 5-metre leads for quick, reliable connection to Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX terminals
• Wide -40C to 100C operating range covers extreme cold and high-heat environments
• Plug-and-play compatibility with Victron Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX, no additional configuration required
• Bulk 4-pack provides cost-effective coverage for multi-zone monitoring

Applications

These sensors are ideal for a range of scenarios where precise temperature data improves system reliability:

• Lithium battery banks monitor individual cell or module temperatures to enable safe charging and discharge
• Inverter/charger compartments detect excessive heat buildup and trigger cooling or shutdown
• Solar charge controller areas ensure components operate within rated temperature limits
• Engine rooms and machinery spaces track ambient conditions to prevent equipment damage
• RV and caravan setups maintain optimal battery and electronics temperatures during travel

Installation and Compatibility

Each sensor lead is fitted with ferrules that insert directly into the screw terminals of a Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX. The 5-metre cable length provides flexibility for routing through bulkheads and conduits. If a shorter cable is needed, the lead can be cut and re-ferruled without affecting performance. The sensors are recognised automatically by the GX system, appearing as temperature inputs ready for custom naming and alarm configuration.

Built for Demanding Environments

Constructed with a stainless steel probe and sealed against moisture, these sensors withstand salt spray, vibration, and temperature extremes. They are suitable for coastal marine installations, outback off-grid systems, and heavy-duty commercial applications where reliability is non-negotiable.

Enhance Your Energy System’s Intelligence

Equip your Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX with the Exotronic 6mm Slim Temperature Sensor 4 Pack to gain full visibility of thermal conditions across your installation. Use the data to automate cooling, adjust charging parameters, and receive alerts before problems arise. Add this sensor pack to your system today for smarter, safer energy management.
