Canon EOS R10 + 18-45mm Kit

Canon has released a pair of new APS-C format Mirrorless models that make it easier for entry-level users to enjoy their EOS R range, one of these is this EOS R10. With a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS Sensor, this camera allows users to vastly improve their photographic capture abilities, while its portable design means this upgrade does not come at the sacrifice of comfort. Not just great for stills, the Canon EOS R10 is awesome for producing content on the go, with 4K60p video recording and a vari-angle touch-sensitive LCD screen for framing shots creatively. 4K results are crisp and detailed thanks to 6K oversampling, while Full HD video at 120p allows for slow-motion video recording.

The more serious Vloggers and videographers will be pleased to find that HDR video can be produced in 10-bit, in-camera, while the micro-HDMI port can be put to use to output clean 4K resolution video. This handy camera includes a microphone input and Canon’s multi-function shoe which means pairing the camera with a wide range of microphones and other accessories are possible. With the inclusion of unlimited recording times, the Canon EOS R10 is quite the vlogging tool when in the right hands.

The Canon EOS R10 is equipped for keeping users in touch with all types of moving subjects. This is thanks to its advanced subject tracking abilities and its fast continuous shooting rate of up to 23 frames per second; animals, kids, motor vehicles and more can be competently captured, with the EOS R10. The top speed when using the mechanical shutter is 15 frames per second, while to make sure there is no risk of missing any of the action, this camera crucially features 0.5 seconds of pre-shooting in RAW burst shooting mode. The Canon EOS R10 includes a brand new RF-S mount with a range of APS-C friendly lenses to come, while compatibility with Canon’s prior excellent lens range is possible with the use of adapters.

As well as the 3-inch articulated touch LCD screen, the Canon EOS R10 includes a high-quality 2.36-million dot OLED viewfinder. Why would anyone choose the viewfinder instead of the LCD screen? For one, many enthusiasts prefer the tried and true approach that photographers have used for years, and also a viewfinder is handy for composing in bright outdoor conditions when a screen can be hard to view.

The pop-up flash does an admirable job of illuminating your subjects in dim conditions, while Canon’s excellent Speedlite range is available for those needing more power. The Canon EOS R10 features WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, so fast sharing of your results is possible, as is remote control and capture, using your paired smart device.
