Manfrotto 231CS Stand Lighting Column Chrome

The Manfrotto 231CS is a professional chrome steel lighting stand built for studio work. Its wheeled single-column design combines stability with mobility, making it ideal for photographers and videographers who need flexible lighting setups that move easily across the studio floor.

Height adjustment is quick and intuitive thanks to the spring-loaded sliding arm, which can be repositioned with just one hand. The column extends from 35 cm minimum to a maximum working height of 2.5 metres, giving you precise control over light placement from near ground level to well above head height.

Key features include:

• Spring-loaded sliding arm for fast, one-handed height adjustments
• Leveling leg that extends and locks for stability on uneven surfaces
• Removable fold-away base with locking wheels for easy transport and storage
• Support for multiple fixtures on the same column
• Robust 8 kg load capacity (5 kg at maximum extension)
• Built-in wheels for smooth repositioning around the studio

Setup takes seconds, and the 5/8″ receiver mount accommodates most standard lighting fixtures with the included reversible adapter. Whether you’re setting up a single key light or building a multi-light rig, the 231CS delivers the flexibility and reliability professional studios demand.
