Victron 24V 50Ah SuperPack Lithium Battery

Victron Lithium SuperPack: Integrated LiFePO4 Battery for Demanding Off-Grid and Mobile Applications

Plug-and-Play Lithium Power with Built-In Protection

The Victron Lithium SuperPack redefines ease of use in energy storage by integrating a sophisticated Battery Management System (BMS) and a safety switch directly into a single, compact unit. Unlike traditional lead-acid batteries that require external monitoring and protection, this LiFePO4 battery is ready to install right out of the box, making it an ideal choice for caravan solar systems, marine applications, and off-grid power solutions across Australia. With a nominal voltage of 25.6 V and a capacity of 50 Ah, it delivers 1280 Wh of usable energy, ensuring you have reliable power when you need it most.

The internal safety switch automatically disconnects the battery in the event of over-discharge, over-charge, or extreme temperatures, safeguarding your investment and eliminating the risk of irreversible damage. This intelligent protection, combined with the inherent stability of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry, provides peace of mind for critical installations where battery failure is not an option.

Superior Efficiency and Longevity Over Lead-Acid

One of the most significant advantages of the SuperPack is its exceptional round-trip energy efficiency of 92%, compared to the typical 80% of lead-acid batteries. In real-world off-grid solar setups, where batteries often operate in a partial state of charge, lead-acid efficiency can plummet to 50% or less. The SuperPack maintains high efficiency even under shallow cycling, meaning more of your generated solar power is stored and available for use. This translates to faster charging, reduced energy waste, and lower running costs over the battery’s lifetime.

Furthermore, the SuperPack is virtually immune to the sulfation that plagues lead-acid batteries when left partially charged. It thrives on partial charging, and its service life can even improve when not constantly held at 100% state of charge. With a cycle life of 2500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and a capacity loss of less than 1% per 100 cycles at full discharge, this battery is built for long-term, dependable service in demanding Australian conditions.

Key Features

• Integrated BMS and safety switch for automatic protection against over-discharge, over-charge, and temperature extremes
• High round-trip efficiency (92%) maximises solar harvest and reduces energy loss compared to lead-acid
• LiFePO4 chemistry ensures thermal stability, long cycle life, and no risk of thermal runaway
• Unlimited parallel connection allows you to scale your battery bank to meet larger energy demands
• Lightweight and compact design simplifies installation in space-constrained environments like caravans and boats
• Wide operating temperature range from -20C to +50C for discharge, suitable for Australian climates
• IP43 protection rating guards against dust and water spray, enhancing durability in mobile and marine settings
• Maintenance-free operation with no need for watering, equalisation charges, or terminal cleaning

Engineered for Real-World Reliability

Victron has designed the SuperPack to withstand the rigours of mobile and off-grid life. The robust casing and IP43-rated enclosure protect internal components from dust and moisture, making it suitable for installation in vehicle bays, boat lockers, and remote equipment sheds. The battery can be placed on its longest side, offering flexible mounting options where vertical space is limited.

Connection is straightforward via M8 threaded inserts, which accept standard cable lugs for a secure, low-resistance link. The integrated carry strap makes transport and positioning safe and easy. Unlike some generic lithium batteries that require complex external BMS units and wiring, the SuperPack’s all-in-one design reduces installation time and potential points of failure.

Ideal Applications

The Victron Lithium SuperPack is perfectly suited for a wide range of applications where reliable, maintenance-free energy storage is essential:

• Caravans and RVs: Power lights, fridges, and electronics without the weight and maintenance of lead-acid
• Marine and boating: Dependable power for navigation, communication, and onboard amenities in saltwater environments
• Off-grid solar systems: Store solar energy efficiently for remote cabins, tiny homes, and sheds
• Backup power: Keep critical devices running during grid outages with a silent, emission-free solution
• Industrial and mobility: Power electric wheelchairs, scooters, and portable equipment with a safe, high-cycle battery

Compact footprint with dimensions of 220 x 330 x 172 mm and a weight of 14 kg, ideal for installations where space and weight are critical.
